Hyper seborrhoea is a cause of acne resulting from increased activity and size of the sebaceous glands following hormonal modifications, a sub-optimal hygiene, dietary imbalances, circulation disorders or lack of exfoliation. Hyperseborrhea is then accompanied by the proliferation of microbial flora, in particular Propionibacterium acnes which encounters a territory more than favourable for its growth in the space of the sebaceous pores.
