WHAT IS PROFHILO HAENKENIUM?
Profhilo Haenkenium® cream, is a topical formulation that provides immediate skin hydration, natural antioxidant protection and long-term accumulative skin rejuvenation results. Combining a patented Hyaluronic Acid (HA) complex with Salvia Haenkei extract, this multi-tasking complex protects, restores and improves skin cell health within one skincare product.
■ HYALURONIC ACID (HA) COMPLEX This exclusive complex combines both high molecular weight HA, which has a protective effect, restoring and maintaining the skin’s hydrolipidic film, with low molecular weight HA, which contributes to optimal hydration.
■ HAENKENIUM This patented Salvia haenkei extract enriches the formula and slows down the degradation process of HA caused by ROS, prolonging the benefits to the skin. It provides skin protection from free radical damage and improves the skin cell health.
CLINICAL RESULTS
Trial consisted of evaluation of 50 patients undergoing topical treatment with Profhilo HAENKENIUM twice a day (morning and evening). All results showed a statistically significant improvement at the first control visit (14 days):
■ 50% increase in antioxidant activity
■ 30%% reduction in wrinkle depth
■ 20%% increase in cutaneous elasticity
The protective strength of this formulation as a natural antioxidant also makes it also suitable for use post treatment after dermoaesthetic treatments such as peels, dermal fillers, micro-needling, and other treatments to soothe irritated skin, whilst restoring the normal levels of hydration to the skin.
